Molly & Ross´s wedding was a truly family affair. Even Molly´s two beloved super cute dogs were involved in the ceremony ( ring bearers ).
Guests travelled from Scotland all the way to Jimena de la Frontera to witness Ross & Molly tie the knot. Which they did literally by the way! They chose the lovely humanist celebrant, Natasha, from Engaged and Ready, to perform the symbolic ritual of hand-fasting.
The hand-fasting wedding ceremony originates from Celtic and pagan roots. It is popular nowadays as it is a beautiful ceremony to connect with your partner and show commitment to each other.
The late afternoon hand-fasting ceremony took place in the beautiful rustic Cortijo Roman, which was the perfect backdrop for Molly´s vintage style Spanish wedding. The gorgeous decoration and florals were also a family affair, overseen by Molly. Along with her home made signs, driven all the way to southern Spain by Molly´s Mum and Dad!
