What Should I Wear For My Wedding in Gibraltar?
Updated: Mar 1
With coronavirus forcing many couples around the world to rethink their wedding plans, elopement weddings and small intimate 'Micro' weddings are becoming super popular in Gibraltar. Lots of couples are opting for a Gibraltar civil marriage and then a bigger ‘main event' wedding further down the line.
Absolutely anything you wish! The best thing about a micro wedding is there are no rules when it comes to choosing your elopement outfits.
Having a small wedding doesn’t mean you can’t still have an amazing outfit for your special day.You can decide if you want to go cool and chic or traditional in a full white gown!
How to choose an Elopement Outfit?
When it comes to deciding what to wear, the most important thing is to feel comfortable, relaxed and FABULOUS.
Each of my couples have a completely different style and this is very important to remember when plan your elopement wedding outfits.
Your wedding photos will be a memory of your special day forever, so putting in a little bit of thought and effort into styling your outfits is a good way to make sure you look back on your photos with a smile.
My advice is let your personality shine and stay true to your style.
Wear the big white wedding dress and traditional suit if that’s your dream. Or save tradition for your 'main event' at a later stage.
Many of my couples feel they must stick to the wedding ‘theme’ but this can be realised in many ways from a beautiful bouquet of flowers or button holes to a bridal veil with a non traditional wedding dress.
So if rocking up in jeans in your thing, then go for it!
Or even barefoot! I cant emphasis the importance of staying true to your style as this will shine through in your wedding photos.
