Gibraltar Winter Sunset Wedding in the Marina
Updated: Feb 4
As the sun set on my final wedding of the year, I had the pleasure of photographing Samantha and Liam from the US and UK. They chose to elope and marry in Gibraltar due to travel bans and restrictions, with Gibraltar being the only available country in the world to allow them to go ahead with their civil wedding ceremony.
Their marriage took place at 7pm on a Friday in late December, so we decided to meet at 6pm to catch the last of the winter light and beautiful sunset for their pre-wedding photography session.
I rarely get to meet my Elopement couples before there wedding day, but we were all instantly on the same page and the photography session flowed. Within 20 minutes we were finished and ready to head over to The Lounge restaurant, a 5 minutes walk across the marina, for their civil wedding ceremony at The Lounge.
